I have a Lian Li case and it's amazing. Super roomy and cable managing is great although you still need to do the work to manage them properly. The only reason I want to steer away from it is if you have an aversion to tempered glass.
I'd wait for the 5000 series. It seems like you don't have an immediate need to upgrade, and there's always a chance the 4000 series gets a price decrease.
What's your current monitor setup? You might want to spend some of your budget on that as well if you haven't thought of it. My coworker has a great ultra wide setup in his garage for lan parties but I think they go for 1k+ USD
I currently have an LG GL850-B 27" 1440p @144Hz and a 27'' 1080 on secondary. The reason I do not have a 4K is basically because at the current moment, not a lot of games will run at 4K with full Graphics with a 4080 (at least games like warzone etc)
but I feel like 2K running at 144 is currently comfortable and consistent.
I'm still running on DDR4 RAM due to my CPU and Motherboard but from what I've seen it doesn't make much a difference.
and Yes... I have seen Lian Li and they are really good quality and great airflow.
