well I thought about the situation when u duel vs some ranged enemys on hammer like bow ama, where you could have foh cta on switch and cast foh on the enemy, mini stun the enemy and then jump and hammer it down? or is this just theory?
You usually hardstat one point foh.
Then you can smite-foh-jump-attack chain without even releasing namelock.
You never let go off left click before u land on enemy, where i click again to cast Hammers, preferable with a new lock.
1. namelock with either Hammers or smite depending on situation.
2. smite enemy to give him swirl over head(this swirl makes him stunnable from all form or damage such as foh)
3. swap to foh, as soon as foh is casted do 4.
4. swap to throw and right after swap to teleport and also click right button.
5. if timed correct foh will land on enemy just before you, enemy will be stunned by foh and is ready to be rect by Hammers.
6. hammer him down, u have to click left again now, and ofc swap to conc.
Ideally ur hammer click should be a namelock again so u can quickly rejump or smite or fohjump again.
It has a timing to hit. Timing depends on ping. Sometimes u can do it without using throwlock. Unsure how different d2r is on this.
I usually activate Fana when smite for faster smite, and i hardpoint 1 skill to Fana on Hammers.
So basicly you do this on hoto side, smiters do it on Grief side.
Hoto has only 1 less skill to conc/foh compared to ur cta scepter, and hoto adds all the other Nice stats such as:
40@
40fcr
10 dex (you will go down in block % if built right on cta side)
Correct timing or correct ping will bypass the delay after foh and make u teleport imidate after casting foh.
On d2lod it was easier to time on 48 and 125 fcr compared to 75.
