Turns out the doctors were wrong and it wasnt a slipped disc!
For a month I could barely walk and was in excruciating pain, I was on morphine, missed like 2 weeks of work, the full meal deal.
I had seen 4 separate doctors, most recently a physiotherapist doing a consult to see if i was a candidate for spine surgery. She worked on me for an hour and a half, checking out my bones, etc, and told me to basically "Suck it up buttercup, this is just normal back pain, you just need to get out there and exercise!" Where I live it was a 9 hour drive to go see this bitch, so her answer was pretty fucking annoying. Theres no way the pain I was experiencing was "normal".
So I go to an osteopath, which I would never normally do because to me its all make believe cukoo voodoo magic. The guy instantly just feels my hips, has me do 3 tests which I "failed", tells me my hips are misaligned by more than hes ever seen in his entire career. Has me lay on the table, put some thing between my knees, told me to squeeze really hard on the count of 3. Very loud, very audible POP sound occurs. I literally got up off the table and was able to walk. I limped in, and 5 minutes later walked out. I called the doctors who I was dealing with and told them and they were pretty indifferent. Like mother fuckers I drove NINE HOURS to get to that appointment. Took a day off of work, hundreds of dollars in fuel, and how the fuck did they miss that my hips were misaligned by over 2 inches?
Anyways - medical doctors are all retarded apparently and didnt even look at any other options, either slipped disc or fat fuck. I think that physio had already made up her mind before I even got there, it felt like she was just going through the motions to say she performed her duties but if she actually cared to pay attention anyone with any understand of bone structure shouldve caught it (Opinion of the Osteopath I saw). I purposely avoid going to doctors if I can and this is why. Osteopath isnt make believe voodoo magic, I 100% recommend.
