Hi, I have recovered an old 1To SSD for a laptop and wanted to add it into my Computer but it dosent work.
It's detected by Speccy but i can't detect it with my file explorer on even with steam.

It's a 1To Seagate ST1000LM024.

Idk if you will need those informatios but my other components are:
CPU: AMD Rysen 5 3600
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME B450M-A (AM4)
Graphic Card: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (MSI)

Probably needs to be formatted
Right click on windows icon -> disk management -> find the disk drive -> new volume -> quick format

Or it has some firmware on it to only be detected by some crackpot bios like Dell does on their computers

Or it could just be dead
