100% correct, this also includes EVERY ability... not just salvation.
There are ways around this with solo'ing... play in a Map that does NOT spawn those monsters that steal/remove Abilities.
The same goes with the Emblems that can be a Trap Door... it doesn't matter if you are a TD detector or not when activating A TD Emblem in a normal catacomb... you will just fall in... however, in a Map... you can never fall in a Trap Door.
Just need the right Tier map with monster cap up to MQ for monk... believe it is 77... so ... 55 right = 80 cap ... hmm in that case, try and find Tier X (level 35) Map with +17 or more Monster level Cap = 77+.
We have to find a work around to the update.
