This is not in a direct response to the new changes. But a couple of the changes has made this suggestion more logical.
First off this is a niche problem/suggestion, would imagine this getting mostly no's?

Why the suggestion.
1. With the removal of user blogs we can no longer move things can cannot fit in profile there.
2. Seems like the limits has been changed. it will show a skip to next line as using 1 of the 1000 character limit. But it actually does count it as 4 when you go save or preview edit.

Two variations.
1. Straight up increase the limit to from 10000 to 20000. Increase picture limit from 20 to 30.
2. Make it perks of being customer/verified. Something like:
Regular: 10000/10000 characters, 20/20 images.
Customer: 20000/20000 characters, 30/30 images
Verified: 30000/30000 characters, 40/40 images.

I personally don't know of any changes as I don't really check on the subject(s) you have posted, HOWEVER, I think (THINK) I have an understanding of what you would like to be implemented.

I just checked my Profile with the changes that was made. Hmm, I hate it, I would rather have my previous layout set as "default" The reasoning is simple, I want to view my Ladder Slasher characters at the TOP of my profile since it is the only game I play, and I also prefer the 3 column setup before the changes.

I am undecided on your request though. so Null vote sorry.

Any other reason for a no other than you will not take advantage of it yourself?

Judging by the recent events, it’s my assumption that limiting profile space and removing profile pics is planned to reduce data on peoples profiles. This completely negates that effort.

By putting it behind a paywall, you are targeting a select few who want to have 10MB+ profiles which I’m going to guess is about 25% and probably doesn’t merit the work or upkeep of data storage on the host servers. You’d probably need to up the price of the verified membership if this was desirable for the Admins.

my bad. i mean since you tried to update it yesterday you got "profile is too long". you exceeded the char limit. so i was joking about now you're stuck with a legacy profile lol (which is actually kinda cool)

like how the those legit 08 valks are on the d2 servers and can't be imported/hacked in again (afaik)

I think you might be overestimating how much data a profile can contain. Images posted there will be hosted at other providers.
Doubt any profiles would come anywhere near 10MB even with 30.000 characters. And again it's a select few that would take advantage of it.

If we can't have more than two options for gender we can't have more options for profiles. The profiles are fine just the way they are now.
