Im pretty sure a coat rack is a better upgrade. the real question is does Giannis like him? Cuz Bud was his best coach ever but Giannis got mad at him because Giannis wants to use up 2 spots and 2 mill cap space to give his brothers front row seats every game and some dental.. and Bud made a half assed comment 1 time and Giannis said he gotta go.

Will Doc Rivers dare mention how stupid it is to waste 2 roster spots and pay people to sit front row every game? only time will tell.

bro nobody cares about the 15th roster spot, if Thanasis makes Giannis happy, that's probably more valuable than what the majority of 15th roster guys offer

Jordan Welsh is a crowd favourite and has plenty of potential, and JD Davison has insane athleticism. Both have upside and worked their way onto a roster with hard work and determination, they’re both deserving of being in the NBA - unlike Thanasis

I think we only just signed Drew Peterson to a 2 way contract from Maine a few weeks ago, don’t know much about him, but he did get minutes in a game a few weeks ago and looked like he had a good skillset for a big. Reminded me a bit of the Wagner brothers.

So to answer your question, yes. I’d much rather give them depths spots to people who actually deserve it.

Thanasis has insane athleticism also, the upside of Thanasis is obviously getting Giannis to stay lmao that alone is greater expected value than whatever JD Davison and Jordan Welsh do in their careers of warming bench seats

Walsh will have a pretty respectable career imo. He’s an insanely good defensive player already and has a nice outside stroke. JD Davison won’t make it, but he would 11-0 Thanasis with minimal effort applied.

And if what you said is true, and the only reason Giannis is staying put in Milwaukee, then that’s pretty hilariously pathetic lol. Clearly zero loyalty to the Bucks if that’s the case.

And Thanasis supposed athleticism is useless in the NBA anyway. What good is it when you can’t catch or dribble the ball? Just go do Track or something
