Exactly, had some difficulties in life but I always try to encourage people and listen. It goes a long way... A lot of people don't have people, ya kno'?

Of course we see it all too often. I don't think what is lacking is verbal encouragement though. Something more along the lines of involvement.
Not out to diminish your statement just putting out what I experience.
