Do any of you collect gold or silver? If so how long have you been collecting and how many oz is your collection?

Where did you get your best find? Yard sale? Gold mining? Add pictures if you have cool pieces.

Or if you invest in gold futures/stocks which ones and how much date purchased + price of gold day of purchase.

Gold price : $2022
Silver price : $22.88

Where the profit will come is when something happen and the people all want their gold or silver,, and try to use those paper that the bank sold
and then notice that 100 person owe the same 1 oz of silver
the next morning the price will go so much ,, when all that fake silver paper dissapear and they figure out that 90% of the gold and silver dont exist and hes only a paper from the bank

One can find gold bars/coins at a yard sale? Like, a garage sale?

If I want to invest in physical gold, which I might (I have seriously considered it), I would only buy it from a bank or a reputable dealer. It's more expensive, but you are assured that it's real. I don't know how people could buy gold coins etc from just any Tom, Dick, and Harry.

Agreed, way more upside potential and considering it's industrial application, along with historical ratio vs gold. Even if it never returns to 20:1 like it was for hundreds, if not thousands of years, silver will eventually have another mega run up like it had in the 1980s and the 2010s.

I view silver as a long term hold, a store of value that may take 20 years or more to really pay off. But it is tangible and highly liquid in the meantime. Probably better to invest in if you have a ways to go until retirement.

Gold, more reliable and consistent store of value, with less upside potential vs silver but as a tier 1 asset, makes sense to have some.

All in my opinion, I don't really know shit about fuck.
