Reminder that according to the media, if you believe shitty, game-changing, officiating can benefit star players, you are automatically part of the alt-right

Any kind of logical thought is branded as right wing extremism these days

The additional revenue via sports betting, particularly the NFL, is an additional 2.3 billion, which is a fraction of what they receive from viewership; specifically broadcasting the broadcasting deals/rights. The broadcasting deals are done before the season and they're based on previous years viewership and estimated futures. In comparison to that 2.3 billion total of unguaranteed money by way of sports bettering, each individual team collects 3.9 billion in guaranteed television money. Taking that all into consideration, it'd be far more beneficial to have the chiefs vs. 49ers during the year of the swifties. The swing in viewershp would be dramatic compared to years prior, which would undoubtedly translate to considerably better guaranteed deals.

you really think sports betting has some insane cost behind it to run or something?

the expensive part of that equation is the NFL itself

I don't even understand what you mean by this. Go look at their last quarterly report.

I mean like, if they are expanding and shit they are increasing the amount of revenue they have but aren't profitable necessarily yet because of it.

it also seems crazy to me that sports betting, when you already have the biggest expenditures which is the NFL and everything included with it

would not be making money easily unless they are continuing to aggressively expand or something

I didn't read shit in this thread I just thought you were saying it costs a lot to run a gambling operation which doesn't make a lot of sense to me

hope chiefs lose
