hi,
last month i'm getting more and more problems with my internet connection (wifi) only on my laptop. My phone, girlfriends laptop etc get no problems. Only this laptop.

sometimes my internet just drops (fails to connect to the router) and a few seconds later it connects again.
Can i re-install everything? is this safe to do?
already checked google and other websites.. but i don't get the real help i'm looking for, they all say to re-install the drivers or update to latest drivers, but i have the latest drivers, restarted the router already ...

thanks for the help

Are you using 2.4gz or 5gz network. In my experience 2.4gz can be unreliable. So use 5gz. If you cant then buy a wifi dongle that can do 5gz. Or if your network isnt split check in the WiFi settings that you are using 5gz cus sometime the pc will default to 2.4gz for some reason.

I feel like your laptop is the true meaning of usb adapter scam because that only happens to usb adapters. I think built in Wi-Fi is the best.

Is that last pair of numbers your link speed? If so, there’s either something in your house causing major interference or your Wi-Fi card is defective/malfunctioning.

13/780 (Mbps) link speed would definitely point to a hardware issue assuming all the proper drivers & updates are installed. Did you happen to also check if your Bios & chipset drivers are updated on this laptop too? I've also seen network issues being resolved if you run Windows Update and download any pending updates.
A good way to test if it is your Wi-Fi card is to get a USB Wi-Fi adapter(~$20 on Amazon, you can return it afterwards if you don't need it) then disable your Wi-Fi cards adapter and see if you get disconnected still. Updating your routers firmware could potentially help too.

If it stays consistent at 866/866 now it should be fine.
