Shipping must be in europe (Belgium)
i usually look on pcpartpicker but my friend is from euw and im kinda scared of delivery fee etc
Here is his current build :
Model ROG Strix GL12CP_GL12CP

Motherboard : GL12CP
gpu : 1060 geforce
current ram : 8gb
Cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 3192 MHz
psu: 500W power supply (80+ Bronze, peak 550W) (taken from this site https://rog.asus.com/desktops/mid-tower/rog-strix-gl12-series/spec/)
Hes looking to play the most recent Cod (Mw3), he knows his gpu isnt the best for it (taken from the site) but hes just want a quick little kick for his money
budget is around 50E (can probably go a lilttle higher / lower shouldnt matter really for 32g of ram)

i mean he's been using it for a while but does not really want to invest that much money to get a new one and still wants to play modern game, from requirements his build should be ok still no? i might be wrong
he thinks its the reason he's having a rough time running most things (which probably is, with 8gb of ram you can't really do much)
Would it be enough to make a big change?

Investing in 32gb ram on an outdated rig for gaming purposes isn't going to yield any better performance. 8gb is plenty for most games, pushing closer 16gb for memory hungry ones. Unless your friend is running into issues because lack of memory, I would personally keep it as-is or go 16gb as a last hoorah.

E: It's still a capable gaming system.

he could use the extra ram for his next computer if he buys 32 rather than going for 16
i dont really know the price difference between 32/16 but he really is going into lack of memory issues
just launching city skyline2 hes using 94-97% of his ram and he would like to stick to his setup for the moment

More ram will not help out here. To play newer games and good frames you will need to consider a whole new build pretty much. Ram wont fix this. gpu, psu, mobo will have to be upgraded if you do that you need to make sure the current cpu can be put on new mobo so research needs to be done. Don't speed money on ram.
