I have been dating this woman for about 6 months. My friends always told me that’s not a good idea dating a single mom.
What is really the issue? I’m 34 she’s 27
We get along just fine. She puts her child #1 priority and still always has time for me. I respect the way she does it 100%

Would y’all date a single mom?

Your answer is in your post. She puts her child #1. And since females always put themselves ahead of their significant other, you are moved to at least #3.
If she has or gets a pet, you will be moved to at least #4 or lower. See how this goes?
In time you will get lower and lower, just a wallet for her to abuse.

6 months is still the honeymoon phase. Wait till you have your first argument. If the ex still has feelings there will be a lot of potential drama, because he’s still the father of the kids and that’s never going to change.

As soon as you stop being a man or for any other reason there’s a crack in your relationship there’s a chance she will dump you and go back to her ex. Her emotional attachment to her ex will always be there.

Women operate on feelings. When a woman says ‘I love you’ she means it but it’s only for today. She might be banging Chad Thunderco~~ the next day. Female nature is cruel.

From a risk/reward perspective it’s not worth it. Enjoy the ride but I wouldn’t get attached emotionally.

This.

I am a woman, and would I date a single dad? Maybe, if I really like him. But he cannot expect me to take care of his kids. In fact, I would not do anything for them or care about them at all, and he needs to know that.

It’s more or less of wether you like the kid yourself, not obligated to like him/her cause who you dating.
