Personally, I'd spin real estate investments and passive income from that so you have physical asset value on equity curve, and income stream to boot. Even raw acres can be profitable, can sell lumber, hay, lease fields, deals with hunters, etc. Then, would do a diverse stock market portfolio, some foreign investments. Finally, would buy a pompous yacht and live off grid on anchor so no mortgage or utility bills. If do e right, can be pretty cheap living minus the initial setup cost.

buy some houses in a popular area... rent out houses... make them pay for the mortgage... sit on it... boom, 20 years you have buncha houses paid for, sell for more millions.

Or retire, buy one house, live off interest.
