I have a ryzen 5 3600 with a 3060 rtx

Almost have a b450m pro vdh max mother board

If I buy a ryzen 5 7600 or a ryzen 7 5800x which mother board should I buy to go with it?

I was thinking if I change my cpu I would need a new motherboard right?

P.s what type of cooler do you gents recommend?

And is adding more RAM good? Currently have 16

Keep it simple, buy a 5800X3D and slap it in your rig after a bios update. 16gb of ram is plenty for now, just make sure it’s not slow ram.

Most cheap well known coolers will work fine.

Definitely the best option with no mobo upgrade required

How did you know your motherboard can hold that one? Where did you check? Or assume?

I thought there is a website to check how many different CPU’s a motherboard can accept?
