Solid.
What part of your game do you think is holding you back from breaking 80 at the moment?

Yeah, the ol 3 putt is infuriating and a scorecard killer. You struggle with distance/speed control or reading the slope/break of a putt on greens?
I struggled with distance control for a bit, and those like 2-3 footers, and decided to switch from a blade putter (newport 2) to a mallet putter (phantom 5.5) and then added a slightly larger grip (super stroke claw 1.0) and that helped me out a good bit. I've been screwing around putting in my office on a perfect practice mat this past winter though and I've discovered I like putting with my newport 2 using the same grip I use with my irons (overlap grip)... might try that one out for fun this spring

You think your 3-putting is result of actual putting or because you're approach shot on the green leaves you with a 30-40+ footer?
Sometimes I'd rather miss the green with a little chip shot than leave myself a 40+ footer for birdie haha

Im like a dear in headlights when it comes to reading greens. Misreads and gauging speednis a big issue. I have a newport 2.0 with pistol grip with regular grip, reverse grip, claw grip. Most stability is probably the normal grip atm. Course management is probably the #1 killer for me if im being honest. Not leaving an easy wedge into the green and trying to get one on with a long iron instead.

Ive gone back and forth with blades and mallets, i prefer blades

Yeah course management is a big one
My course isn't real long at about 6,750 yards from the tips, so I hit 5wood quite a bit off the tee if the driver isn't dialed in how I want it

My bread and butter is the 3wood off the tee, its a nice smooth easy fairway finder. I will be focusing on putts this off season. I was hitting my lines which felt good but just terrible reads.

Nice, I love my fairway woods. My strong point is probably irons or fairway woods, followed by wedges, then driver, and finally the putter. Putter is sort of my kryptonite as well. I was averaging around 37-38 putts a round and I had that down to 33-34 by the end of this past season so my scoring average and handicap was looking a lot better.

Golf is hilarious man. Can hit 2 shots 500 yards to a green, or green side, but then it might take 3-4 shots to get those final 5-10 yards in the hole lol

I started playing early on during the pandemic. Nothing like flushing a golf shot to get you addicted to the game. Recently moved to the west coast of Canada. We have some nice mountain courses that are just stunning to play.
