Hey guys, just found this subforum, figured I'd shoot a question I've had for some time now but had nowhere/no one to ask
Want to start upgrading my pc part by part
this was built by me a few years ago.
current setup

AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT Tuf Gaming 4gb
AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6core
2x T-Force Delta 8gb 3200Mhz (16gb total)
CPU Cooler Arctic Freezer 34 eSports
MSI Mag 550w 80+ Bronze

can currently run all the games I play (cs2 and red dead redemption) but wanna be able to increase graphics quality a bit.

any and every help is appreciated!

Upgrade GPU to something beefier like an RTX 4070.

You're going to need to add some more specifics. What resolution do you play on/intend to play on? What frame rates are you shooting for?

If you're going to upgrade, you'll likely need to upgrade 3-4 parts: GPU obviously, but CPU, power supply, and possibly motherboard depending on your CPU choice.

If you throw a higher end gpu in, the CPU will likely bottleneck and your PSU will not be adequate enough to power the rig.
