I want to have a dedicated Mini PC for my living room something I can run an emulator for n64, ps2, GameCube games etc. , also looking to use it for streaming movies on Kodi/Stremio, I should only need 4k quality maximum w/ 60fps. What do you guys suggest on purchasing?

What ur price range and what is mini for you?
Just from a brief look, they are quite expensive for what you get.
For ps2 games i would recommend 1650 low profile gpu and that should do 4k 60 video playback no problem.

I don’t really have a price range but don’t want to go crazy just something that’ll get the job done that is futurish proof

Ill have a look around. What kind of future proof are you searching for? If its for emulations with ps2 being the goal, then you dont really need to future proof, you just need the recommended emulation spec.

949$

782$

859$

The 1660s will do ps2 emulations and 4k video playback no problem but, ift you will want to try ps3 emulation look to get a better cpu with the 1660s e.g. i5 9th or 10gen. The 3050 will have dlss which will help improve fps in games, not emulation but its only a 5% performance boost for 150$, which isnt worth it imo

You can also check SimplyNuc for their new Ryzen APU series 4x4 mini pcs (palm of your hand), they're right around the price mark that SuperStu96 has mentioned and they're quit impressive
All available in 5/7/9 series depending on how hxc you want to go

Ryzen have the best APU/CPUs for gaming performance. The new 9 series can play Cyberpunk 1080p medium settings no ray tracing which is very impressive. I prefer Intel typically when using dedicated GPUS.

im looking at the Moonstone R9 from simplynuc it seems to have a dedicated graphics card, these seem quite expensive for little ram and small ssd as well.
