Budget would be around 1k but must include windows. Just for video games like wow, d4, BDO, Warzone. I’m not over clocking anything and would prefer a pre built if I don’t suffer terribly in value just cause time is so limited these days with kids. I also would like eventually dual monitors which can be separate cost I’ll buy later on. However I am eyeing prime day if anything that is worth buying during that?

Also is 4K an option or would I get more value with 2k?

At your price point, 4k is not an option. At your budget and buying a prebuilt, you’re looking at 1080p, possibly 1440p at lower fps. Also, 1k goes a lot further building something yourself and using second hand parts from people upgrading to the newer 40 series gfx cards. It’s much easier than it sounds.

screen size/resolution/frames? 4K could be an option if you're fine with 40-60fps/med settings. All depends on the goal in mind.
