Patch 10.1.5 (retail, obviously) is introducing free trading across all realms in your region.

Just saw this too, this is huge

It seems like you can trade across regions too (ex: EU to FR to GER, etc.), even though Blizzard's announcement says otherwise.

This is the best change they ever made IMO.

For instance. was in a M+ the other day and the healer didn't bring anything to drink for mana. Was able to trade him. This could have made for a very slow M+.

Yeah this change is pretty substantial. My friend wanted to buy a zg raptor on a dead realm, and we were able to trade cross faction + cross region (EU to FR) seamlessly. Just had to be in a dungeon together, as otherwise you can't initiate a trade with the opposite faction (that I know of).

yes, that's right. Just have to be in an instance with them. Had the issue the other day. Finished an M+ and wanted to give a piece of gear to someone that was in the dungeon with me, but we had already ported to Valdrakken. We just flew to ruby life pools since it was closest and went in and was able to trade.
