I don't think this is that close to the Bell Cebter but if you've never done a "Dine in the Dark" experience, you're missing out!

Last time I went, we went to this place called O Noir. They serve good food and you eat in complete pitch black. Like, you can't even see your hand in front of your face. All the waiters and servers are blind and they walk you to and from your seat to the bathroom, etc. This was soooo much fun and the food was great.

You can also do a "surprise me" thing where you have no idea what you're eating. I chose that and it was hilarious and delicious.

DON'T wear nice clothes. You'll make a mess and likely end up eating with your hands haha

This sounds super cool. This is definitely something we're gonna look into next time we come up!

100% worth it. They had a similar thing in Vancouver that we tried and thought he food was good the experience was different. It's one of those things I think everyone who appreciates a fun meal should try once in their life. They're busy, too... you have to book for one of their designated seating times. Everyone enters together and eats together at the same time. Cameras and light of any kind is obviously not allowed... phones off, etc. I remember after we finished and the server walked us to the exit, I was like "sooo do those glasses help you see in the dark?" and then he took it off and his eyes were SO FUCKED like something out of daredevil? Completely scarred and the guy was totally blind... lots of the servers are in that state. Very cool they can find work doing this.

Yeah the one you suggested said their wait staff is all vision impaired. They have one in Toronto too, down there a couple times this summer so might hit it up. Stoked

Around the bell centre, there is Bier Markt

Not too far from there, there is a Japanese BBQ place: Gyu Kaku

Take a deep breath when you reach the city, and enjoy the smell of sewers, cow dung and foreigners sweat

If you can drive ~30-40 mins from Montreal(depending of your starting point), I can teach you everything about the city
