mean is, due to ww hitchecks mechanics, if griefz isn't primary to take advantage of the first hit check, then it is meaningless to even have a lacerator build compared to the conventional bvc build
This isn't a "Lacerator BvC" it's a Brawler- a Throw/ WW hybrid barbaraian and if you are trying out weapon combinations with Widowmaker on switch, Lacerator/ Grief is superior than Lacerator/ Lacerator or Lacerator/ Beast. If you want to remove Lacerator you lose Amp and would be better off making a BvA. As Tudey
said, Amp is the important thing here.

how about widow + atmas scarab
works very well also
Better for a bowa, and even then... =/ Atma's is a crap amulet compared to other options and you lose to much in versatility if the only way you're planning on getting Amp is through the 2% on Atma's via Widowmaker only.

when you've got widowmaker out, its for duels where you plan on never whirlwinding at all.
hence it can just as easily be lacerator / stormshield on switch as lacerator / grief. Grief makes more sense in caster matchups where they might slipup and give you a chance to ww them. for example, vs hammerdins.
in those duels its often just as wise to use beast with its ow/cb/ar bonuses, since that might help you more than more straight damage on grief, because of hammerdins high life / defense.
just teleport around shooting them full of guided arrows. You never use widowmaker in duels where you would want to whirlwind.
Widowmaker is up for descretion, in terms of there is no matchup where I would always use it compared to other setups where I always use Crown of Ages.
Generally it is used against people who extreme l8z or to land an Amp from afar, the player has to be able to judge their own skill and the skill of their opponent to acknowledge whether they will be able to play with Widowmaker out (you're very vernable with Widowmaker).
I actually overlooked Crushing Blow :x usually so obsolete in PvP I didn't even think about it, but it could be useful verse hammerdins, as you said. Those types of matchups would be only the place I'd use that combination, if I chose to use Widowmaker.

srry to say it!
but use double throw, to get amp, will decrease total win chance / decrease killing speed!
however it can be fun vs noobs!
Lol thanks Tommy
