There are so many movies out there dealing with the problem of racial segregation, whites vs. blacks, etc. But none of them have come near inspiring the emotions in me that American History X has. I was riveted every second. I know this isn't really a political/religious thread etc. (it does have political ramifications though), but since this is probably the forum I frequent most nowadays I decided to post here. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. I'm only pissed that I waited so long to watch this masterpiece.

I guess it COULD be considered a race movie if you consider Na'vi another race.

But if you look at it as a giant colonialism analogy, it actually does become one. Albeit a kinda dumb one.
