The only instance you'll want more DR is if you're cursed. if you have 100% DR and are cursed with decrepify, you'll still have 50% DR. If you get Amped, you'll have 0% DR. Uncursed, the DR over 50% is wasted.

There is also no cap against Crushing blow. 100% DR will completely negate CB.

zero or 50% dr, crushing blow removes a % of total life

pvp melee crushing blow removes 10% life from target, dr% or not
crushing blow even ignores a sorc es or a necro bone armor

a crushing blow can not kill the target
like my sorc:
crushing blow removes 10% every hit
but when my sorc is at 1 life, i not loose life any more from crushing blow
just from the melee swing itself
how i know? couse i testes this whit a 80dr sorc(no dr%), she not loose life from melee swing itself

its like psn/ow, it drains life but not do the killing
