I've had so many people I know get keylogged and they have no idea how it happened. I understand that it is usually their fault that they got keylogged but sometimes it just seems to happen out of the blue. A person who is keylogged can easily have his account pass stolen and gold security pw stolen as well. I'm pretty sure that those random number generator type keypads (kinda like when you have to enter in those random words when creating a user name somewhere, but they are number pads) would work to save someones' gold password. I just think that when you have a site where people are actually paying money for something that their investments should be as safe as possible.
- I know that you all are saying that this is a pain and probably half of you don't have a gold pw anyways, but I think this should be an option on top of the current pw, so people can know that their investments are safe in the event that they get tricked into clicking a bugged link etc.

As far as I know those are designed to prevent bots from making accounts and spamming (depending on where they are implemented). How do you propose they will prevent people from losing their accounts?

you don't type anything in so it cant be key logged, they usually are a number pad where the numbers are scrambled each time. they are not the random word things, that was just an example of what they are kind of like for those who have never seen them

captchas usually have to be typed by users who register on a site. keylogging a captcha does not make any sense, since they are randomly generated every time.
maybe you mean a java based pad of numbers and characters to type the passwords? yes, it would be more safe - but as long as ppl keep logging in from public places (with their own notebook or with public computers), the username/password information can be read by anyone in that network...
banks usually use such pads to prevent keylogging.

this

if someone gets your pw from keylogg

its not that hard for them to type a word in that the generator gives them

its not like the keylogger is a bot who auto types in pw's where ever you choose

those random generators are for bots trying to, get 50+ tickets to a concert or something AS AN EXAMPLE

this would be a serious pain in the arse.

so no.

Stop downloading hacks and third party software, and you won't get keylogged.
