I like the idea about this, but then at the same time dislike very much the possible abuse, this is already a privilege that members have to earn so act accordingly.
Voted no because I feel this will hurt more than contribute.

No, some posts provide good evidence in a scam case and should not be edited past the time given.

Will not happen. People use it to scam and change details to try and scam, cover scams, or other violations.
