Hahah I did post a lot of past bicep shots huh
Here are the last pics I took, sometime last year. I'm similar now (been slacking from being busy), just maybe slightly fatter/less muscular

Yeah
cba to find them now though

Really just a variety though. Seems to lower incidence of a variety of neurodegenerative and/or psychiatric conditions. Upregulates endogenous antioxidant production through like NRF2 and etc.. inducing a hormetic effect. Found to reduce the incidence of spontaneous DNA strand breaks by a good amount (20 some % IIRC). Induces hepatic lipophagy, basically to attenuate liver fat accretion, which is quite deleterious and a hallmark of metabolic syndrome. That finding has been found numerous times (diminishment of hepatic lipid accrual) via several different mechanisms too. One of late that I remember involved activating CREB (through PDE inhibition), which activated Sirt3, which activated AMPK. It in general ameliorates insulin sensitivity and increases fatty acid oxidation. Very ergogenic. Found to actually mitigate sarcopenia progression in mice. Through a wide variety of studies has shown correlation with increased longevity when consuming more coffee (3+ cups usually) and less morbidity. Etc etc really. Nectar of the gods.

did these studies involve straight caffeine? or coffee based?

i do caffeine pills instead of coffee. i take anywhere from 100 to 300 mg a day from just pill form. normally 100 to 200 mg before workout.

Coffee is always going to be far superior
as for the studies.. IIRC it's a bit of both. endogenous antioxidant prod, correlations with longevity and morbidity, and at least some of neuropsychiatric incidence was coffee I believe
rest were prob caffeine for the most part

Balla mensch, got a question regarding post surgery and scar tissue;

Effects of muscle hypertrophy proximal to scar and wound site, specifically underlying fascia and connective tissue, (deep subcutaneous)? Post surgery +1 year for reference.
