The Tigers Double-A affiliate, the SeaWolves have perhaps the strangest nickname in the minor leagues. And while a sea wolf generally refers to a sea lion, the team instead decided to take a more literal approach to their logo, and the result is just strange.

I don't think it's that bad actually. It looks like the Pittsburgh Pirates logo and the Minnesota Timberwolves logo had a baby.

I like how everyone outside of Maryland cannot recognize our state flag and auto-hate anything it appears on... Being from MD and celebrating MD sports teams is like having a secret handshake on all of your things
