I'm 25, but if you're finding yourself curious about science in general I know there is stuff on Discovery (and even the Science channel, haha) that won't go in-depth, but are designed to introduce basic ideas to the average person.
For example, there's a series that's just starting on Discovery called Curiosity. The first episode describes Big Bang Theory, the evidence behind it, and science's best explanation (so far) of how the universe came into being. But not all of the episodes will be super-deep physics. The second episode is called "Alien Invasion: Are We Ready?"
You can also get watch some episodes of Nova on Hulu if you're from the US. I know they've got a three-part series called Becoming Human (I think it was Season 37, episodes 4-6, I don't know if I'm remembering that right after scanning through) that sounds like it details the evidence behind human evolution (and with it, evolution in general).
If you're thinking you might really be into Physics, you can go to
www.learner.org/resources/series42.html
and start watching episodes here. It's a series of lectures created by CalTech in 1985 called The Mechanical Universe. They're free to watch if you click the "VoD" link to the right of each video title, but you have to make an account and sign in to view them. But even if you don't fully understand everything, exposure to science never hurt anyone.
