If you want to look into the subject a little more then do some research into Human PH balance. PH controls a lot of things in our body, including whether cancer is allowed to prosper.

link on a small article about a university finding DCA combats cancer. hopefully they can get the money to get it pushed through the trials. but it looks good since its an already administered drug for mitchondrial problems.
