Heya!
I decided to make this thread simply to discuss any product, that Apple is publishing.
This thread may also help people to get information about their device from Apple.
And what I'd like to see aswell, although this forum is very silent, some discussions about interesting questions that may appear.
Very important none the less is sharing the experience you had or have with any Apple products.

Me for myself, I'm mainly informed about Apps. and the iPod Touch.
Furthermore I will post some recommendations on Applications and other things according to the iPod Touch and the iTunes store.




Okay so to start of the trial I'd like to discuss the question, what you think about the new iPad and if you could imagine to buy and please name a reason why you like it or whether you think it will not meet your needs.

I'll give the first statement.
I think the iPad is a great idea from Apple, because they always make big profit with their products.
But the main positive point for me would be, that they are making eBooks actually popular, so that the market might be expanding for those devices.
The "Apple Hype" is continued by this product, though it's not really handy, I think.
On the one hand it fills the gap between their mobile devices and their computers, also it provides the Apps. from iTunes, that are already in use for some time and developped.
On the other hand I could not imagine to have such a tablet PC in metro or in school.
It's simply too huge for my taste, I get along with the iPod Touch very well in school, looking up vocs and learn with it is adorable.

Enough said, lemme hear your state of mind please.

i see no use in an ipad, its a big iphone that doesnt fit in your pocket. and they already have those, called laptops.

Also since this is in science & technology Apple uses a ton of 4 to 1 muxes but only utilize 3 of the inputs leaving the fourth, not cutting it off or grounding it. Why would they do this? Its so inefficient, they could just use intels 3to1 production design and save lost of money and reduce noise thereby reducing misreads in whatever utilities they implement their 4to1 muxes.

ITT: Over priced electronics, phones with shitty coverage, and oversized ipods.

Apple is garbage, always has been, and always will.

at my best buy, they were having a deal where you can buy a fully loaded PC, a big laptop, and a small laptop for $1,200. One Mac even costs $2,500!!!

Apple=noob

Apple products are all style without substance.

The only time their products were worth using was when Adobe Photoshop first came out only on Mac back in the early 90's.

Yeah haven't thought about all negative things yet, many people have ordered an iPad yet and the rumors are big.
Even if Apple might be overpriced in some kind, they got their reasons for not implenting a USB port. Just think about, how many other companies would try use it for their own & new products.
They have even restricted the chargers for the iPod Touch, which made me feel pretty uncomfortable.
But please try to lower your verbal attacks, Apple hasn't made success because you didn't buy it.

Okay, outgoing from all this criticism, what you think makes people buy the iPad actually?

I will come up for some reasons aswell from the internet, had a good website for that.

Now it's the same with the Ipad, I don't know if I really need it, well.
But I might buy one for my parents or so, a notebook is too big for them, an Iphone too small, so it would fit perfect I hope
