Maybe you're just ignorant. Gobekli Tepe was built over 12,000 years ago. And there is water erosion on the sphinx that could have only been caused by thousands of years of rainfall, 5000 years ago Egypt was as bone dry as it is today. Try and keep an open mind before just dismissing anything that wasn't in your history book.

Maybe you're just debunked.

As though Wikipedia is a great website for debunking claims. :(

I'm seeing a personal opinion saying that it can't be older because nobody could have built it, but I don't see any debunking...
Try quotes or paraphrasing, don't throw down some wiki and call it good

lol, link got shut down :p
the thing is we don't know shit
we are mainly speculating since there is no "real" proof of who did what to build what they built or when they built it

We know that carbon dating isn't fool proof so carbon dating something and saying it is this old isn't exactly proof in my eyes
oh yeah, we also know the more that we know, the less we actually knew!

I mean is it possible aliens built the pyramids? yes more possible they drug them a few hundreds miles on the backs of slaves though
just like the one article that was posted here, talking about the pouring of limestone as opposed to just cutting it ... even with suggested proof it was denied because of it being insulting
how is it insulting when they are being given more credit for their minds then their brawn

anyways most of you could stand to do some research on subject matter before trying to enforce narrow minded ways of thinking upon others
whats wrong with thinking out side of the box?

You're right; I should have been more verbose... basically, the bulk of the wiki was comprised of responses from Egyptologists, geologists, and climatologists, explaining why the water erosion hypothesis is wrong. It would be pointless to paraphrase, though.

And the link didn't get shut down... you just have to use actual underscores, not %F's.

I wonder if the orientation of the stars in the night sky during the building of the pyramids was negligibly different from the orientation now or not...

yes as far as their visible location is what you are asking

there doesnt seem to be any technical requirement needed to make it that the egyptians didnt have
there seems to be some logistical problems tho

the estimated time of construction is 20 years
according to wiki , thats 80,000 tonnes of stone , quarried , dressed , moved onsite , and placed in its final place , every day
2.3 million stones , each 2-10 tonnes ( the largest are 25-80 tonnes apiece ) , over 20 years , is 315 blocks per day
over a 12 hour day , thats 26 per hour , or a shade over 1 block ever 2 mins

so, every 2 mins a 2-10 tonnes block comes out the quarry
every 2 mins a block is dressed
every 2 mins a block arrives onsite
every 2 mins workers precisely place a block in the structure

With literally thousands of slaves and tons of gold I think that is very reasonable.
