The fact is, sirius does have a white star in orbit, but that white star was discovered in the early 90's and using telescopies, so ¿How could egyptians know that there where another star?, and how they built those piramyds and later they never repeated nothing like that, the do built more piramyds, but so much simple and without all this astronomichal coincidences.

Furthermore, modern technology can deteriminate where exactly the stones where picked up to build the piramyds, they can actually say wich specific strate of rock fit in the mine, and the stones from the pyramids, wich are granitium , were mined in the south part of the Nilo river, so they should have tranbnsported all this rocks for more than 1000 km using bondes and passing throught the sand.... so thats very suspicious
