I know this socket wont really help me win duels but these jewels/runes are cheap and easily available, so why not optimize the helmet to the best of its capabilities

Also some thoughts on dracs/arach/fcr rings instead of my setup would be great as well

What I am getting at is hitting your breakpoints. Depending on your build/character it's important to understand if you need to hit certain breakpoints or not.

I use Lo in gulli, mostly cuz i prefer 40fc lo/wisp and mass ds vs traps

If you have hit your breakpoints then I would focus on adding something to your helm that will improve your biggest weakness against your select opponent and in this case, a Hammerdin.

I would add a nice melee charm with AR to increase the chance you will hit a Hammerdin. Doesn't matter on your defense really, those hammers will still smack you pretty good. So, yeah, focus on AR and damage.
