Should I be using tstrokes, titans, or 5/40 magic javs? If I use the magic javs does the damage on them make a difference? I will be using this char mostly for pvm

Use 4/40's with rep and may some other nice mods.

when pvp have both titans and 4/40 repl with ed.

For pvm go with titans. IF you want, get 2 pairs of eth ones for higher physical damage. Keep the second pair in cube or stash. Non-eth ones aren't bad at all either and you will never run out since you can repair them.
