Faster block rate worth losing dmg?

Faster Block Rate
0% (7) 9% (6) 20% (5) 42% (4) 86% (3) 280% (2)

20% = standard state of fbr

Interested in opinions, on 42% and 86%

LMK :)

I wouldn't worry about it.

If you're MB on a Barb, you've got high defence, high life and max DR.

You'll rarely get hit by other melee classes unless they are actually melee duelers.

Ok, perfect, I agree for the most part..

However, in the case of say a zon having me locked with ga, and a barb whirling me,

Would I be able to tele out faster? Or be able to block more?

I say block more, because, I'm assuming while in between blocks it can not block?

"Faster Block Rate (FBR) is a coefficient that increases the speed of Blocking. When the character makes a successful block, they must perform a full blocking animation before they can do anything else, Faster Block Rate will reduce the length of this delay. "

fbr not allow to block more
it allow to walk away afer a block animation faster, or to tele away, or to make a melee swing
ww-click cancel stun+block animation+fhr animations+knockback animations
weapon swap also cancel stun+block animations+fhr animations

but yes, a bow-zon that have distance, may want barb to have fbr
a zon have a attack that can not be blocked and trigger knockback, if barb/din keeps blocking+fbr

Higher fbr would allow you to walk out faster. However, I wouldn't recommend attempting to tele out. After the hit-check/hit, your block frame delay would be applied and then you would have an additional delay for the teleport sequence. This opens you up for another attack to start animation sequences all over again. There is no delay in walking, which is the exact reason why it is used to exit trap/stun lock.

E/ after reviewing original question, no. The one or two frame improvement wouldn't do anything as the fastest attack speed is usually 4fpa for melee and hypothetically speaking 3fpa for bowas.
