I have heard conflicting things about this. Some say 100% is enough, others say definitely max. How many monsters have greater than 0 cold res that aren't immune? Anyone know?

However, immunities cannot be broken with Cold Mastery.

I know, that's why I want to know what all monster res is in hell. Like, if everything except that isn't immune has 0 cold res, then 100% seems fine since -100% is max.

pretty much; though with decent gear it's easy to shoot for 150
if you're a boss specific killer check their specific cold res (iirc mephisto is higher)
then again, if you have infinity merc (because dual element) then -100 is premium

more than -199res is always a waste in pvm, so you have to aim between -100 an -199.
imo -150 is the way to go (assuming no infy merc)
