ok so, to begin this topic is about a high dps mfer.

apparently if using a sorceress your either full light w/ infinity or a fire/ice low dps hybrid.... but why not a High DPS Pure FireBaller sorc?
Before we begin lets take a look at what we do know:

infinity reduces a lightining immune moster to below 100% immunity with the use of the conviction aura stacked with its automatic -40+ LR

so with the FBler im targeting fire immunes, and infinity does not have an extra -FR to stack but phoenix does. Not as high as the -40+LR but its -28FR none the less.

add that with 2x p fire facets each with -5%FR were at a total of 38%FR on top of conviction. we also know that even the lowest infinity works to depleat the light immune wich is -40LR on infinity

so I am -2% off

what we don't know

the total resistance percentage of fire imunes for ladder hell

any thoughts?

-resists from gear (facets etc) don't do anything about immunities

only conviction/lower resist can break elemental immunity

if you can afford the correct gear, there is no point making anything which isn't light sorc.

nearly all cold imunities can't be broken with infy, and ofte fire imunities can't either.
lightning and chain lightning work better than fb/blizz/orb vs everything but bosses.
a light sorc is a little slower when killing a boss. maybe you lose 1sec. it's irelevant.

No. You are simply using the wrong spell(s). Chain lightning is quite useless really. Lightning + charged bolt FTW. And no, light sorcs are not slow at all when you use CB.
