bnet rules means there is no rules, all items, programs, tmc etc, are all allowed.

i mean pure smiter vs pure barb, not vt ot tv or any hybrid chars.

Barb best

Without any 3rd party programs, any decent bvc will beat a good smiter, with the barb using doom and smiter using life tap.

With 3rd party programs, a good bvc can beat a modding smiter (if you know what you're doing).

I prefer to use beast even vs life tap, for the ar boost it gives.

Lifetap and doom are not even alike items.
If a smiter uses life tap at any point in his pvp career, he should not be a smiter.
Beast also does help the attack rating a good bit.

Good barb > good smiter always
