I'm making this to help people start an amazon, since apparently in 2011 people still build wrong.
I will say this now - this is the correct way to build an amazon. This is not world of warcraft, there is a right way and a wrong way.

*This is a GMB build!
*This build will not use a 300$ 2 socket Lewt helm where you can't take it off to use DR.
*This is not a fucking vitality zon. You get a whole 500 or 600 life at the cost of thousands of damage? lol? no.

Dex: Enough for 6.7k guided w/ fort nos gmb equipped.

15/3/345 GMB Faith
Nosferatu's Coil
120/45 in a hat with either 20-30 frw or as much life as possible.
Fortitude w/ perf LPL if possible and high resist in (Dusk, Wire, Archon, GHauberk) a light armor.
War Travs. Gspurs/Sspurs if you can afford them.
20 Dex Raven and either a ring with 30+ Stats or a second Raven. (1 dex = 1% ed, the cold dmg on raven isn't amplified much by Fort but it's something.)
20ias/KB gloves with as much Dual Stats and/or +2 skills as you can find.
Cat's eye.
1-2x 451 poison sc... for es sorc / bvc / hammerdin / etc.


You will maintain 127 frw with this setup. If you wsg a lot while running you will desynch a little. . . you can always drop more gc's and get to 150.

You can use also:

100 Life 160/60ias in a light armor.
40/15 Shako and Ber'd Shako.
40vit/13rep/15 (or as close to that life/rep) as possible Dungos

For 25 DR bow, 60 DR switch.







All builds do not require the use of a Stormshield, I used a trophy shield.
Also a 60 life, 3os JAH JAH JAH shield for pure life.
Try to find a troll nest, dragon, or other LIGHT shield. Hyperion is a medium shield but boasts the highest block chance.

This is my trophy ZvZ shield. It is better than stormshield in any way you can argue.






This is somewhat what your amazon will look like if you put some work in to her.

I got stolen and lost the #1 zvz gloves on east ladder, and a top 3 melee ring, and my 45s... but this shouldn't be too hard to afford for most people.
Amazons are not cheap characters, even built welfare. You will need good reflexes, timing, and the ability to read desync and teleport patterns if you want to win more than 10% of the time.




Please note, my particular zon is pure zvz. With fort/faith you should be able to get 50 positive resists.
You can use 5frw sc's, resist scs, etc. In my honest opinion, if you can't put a pair of sspurs/gspurs in your stash - don't worry about it.
If you have soul spurs, please don't try to go vita and build around the dex as well. Just don't.
This is a public guide, and as such I'm not going to have you buy more than you need to make a fundamentally functioning hybrid.

I know you're joshing me but I will put this down anyway.

Level 12 bo is 145 seconds. It adds 68% life.

That's not even noticeable. You'd get more EHP (effective health) from the life on the charms you'd have instead of a cube.

With capped DR your few hundred extra life as vita won't win you a duel. Tanking down to like 4k guided surely will lose you one though.

Get your facts right, iirc a decent vita bow gets 6k dmg. A tradeoff of ~1k life for ~1k more MAX dmg is very smarth^^
