This is not a guide, but the hopefully the start to the best javazon ever…
So I have been tinkering around with my Javazon quite a bit and cannot find a build that separates itself from other ones I have seen. I will list what I use as a main setup, the different bp's I hit, and my statistics. I will also list some items I use at different times, and my thoughts on what could possibly work. I am asking you to give me some ideas on each build, your own and mine, and how we can make a javazon that hits a few necessary break points as well as having the ability to both duel and pvm. Now to the juicy part
The basic setup is:Weapon: P eth un'upd titans (99 dex can be hit using +9 dex boots, a 20 stat anni, 20 stat torch)
Shield: Pheonix Monarch (str is met once titans / nigma / tgods are on)
Gloves: 3/20's
Helm: 25/20 griffs
Ammy: P maras
Rings: bk + raven
Belt: P tgods (str is met once titans / nigma / is on)
Armor: P MP nigma (str is met with torch + anni)
Boots Currently using 30frw/10fhr/8dex/39fire,31light,38 poision (lacks cold res… o well)
Inventory: I use 2x 45 Java Lifers and 6x Java Fhr’s while I chaos or baal. This enables me to hit 86fhr with 90% total. (use 2 more 45's during duels of course) I have 8x 5fhr/5all res sc’s and 2x 20life/5allres sc’s. I finish up with 20/20/6 anni and 20/20 torch.
Break Points:Ias: 20 (gloves only)
Fhr: 90% (top for zon is 86%)
Fcr: Zero
Res (in hell): 63,32,65,65
Full vita: about 3800 life (no max block)
Different Items I use:Weapons: Perf Eth up'd and Perf non up'd ethTitans (switch to 6/6/4 cta w/spirit Mon)
Shields: My main build uses phenoix monarch, as it is an easy way to do chaos and baal without worrying about leech / regen / pots.
Gloves: 3/20s.
Helm: I only use a 25/20 griffs right now. I feel that anything else really is a waste. Unless I find a helm with FHR w/2 sockets on it. Then maybe I would check that out. Any opinion here would help greatly
Ammy: I only use maras here, but have thought of highlords for the 30ias. At the same time, I would lose a skill and all that res, which I hate doing, but then I could possibly go x3 15/15 in jmod with 1 die. Lowering damage but almost reaching 60% ias top break point (50% is 2nd highest I believe?)
Rings: Bk + Raven. What else is there at this point? I also have a 10fcr,12str,31 cold res, with 20 life ring. This way I get the cold res needed to get 65+ on all res on hell mode, but the str and fcr add nothing to my main build. So it is really a waste.
Belt: Tgods online. Don’t consider using arach or fhr/fcr on my build.
Armor: Enigma. I really find that you have to use this always in chaos, but maybe a coh for baal or dueling instead? Any ideas?
Boots: Currently using 30frw/10fhr/8dex/39fire,31light,38 poison (lacks cold o well) No boot switch
Inventory: Inventory does not change here from my main build b/c main build is so sexy
My Thoughts:Weapons: I truly believe that for pvm Titans is the only option. For pvp, 6/40 mats is cruical. I do not understand why people like 4/40s with visionary mod (how does attack rating help cs?)
Shields: I have thought about putting phoenix as my 2nd shield with cta, and using jmod as my main w/ titans 6/40s. It would enable after kill switch + regeneration, and the -2 bo wont really make much a difference in my life. This way I can chaos easily still. I would obviously put spirit back on for duels. I have also used 20/20 jmod as main, which I do not like at all. (no fcr, no res, no skills, doesn’t add enough to make it worthwhile) I have been thinking about going 15ias/15res jewels x2 with x2 5/5 dies in the shield to hit a higher ias bp (30 shield + 20 gloves = 50%) and also gain the resistances, which I could make scs 20/5’s or 20/17 or whatever I chose. But I will have to rely on pots for mana + life. (If I choose not to use Phoenix on switch) Could also use a SS as main and spirit as switch. But its choice of ss or jmod with certain jewels?
Gloves: I personally love 3/20, more damage the better in my opinion. But at the same time, I can see for a Max block Zon, the 2/20/dex/res/life would be awesome. Have thought about 2/20/with kb / ias / res. Don’t know exactly which type of glove I would use for a duel/pvm. I would probably go max block on this char so dex with kb would be nice, and still enable me to pvm effectively.
Helm: I have seen 2zon/30frw/20fcr/2 sock helm w/ stats. I can easily buy that and it is godly, but how so for javazons? Maybe if I am dueling w/ 2x 5/5s in it or fhr/dex/str jewels it would be best, but still think 25/20 griff > anything. Not going Shako, and not going 2/30frw/2. It just doesn’t help as much.
Ammy: Maras is so good, but at the same time it doesn’t help with break points. Highlords is wonderful but it only gives ias help. I don’t see the point of metal grid, but could be helpful in dueling I guess. +2 zon , fcr (or no fcr), stats, res, life, whatever, does nothing for me on my build. You don’t need strength to wear java gear if you use a low strength requirement enigma (dusk or lower) b/c your titans + t-gods is enough to wear everything. If you don’t use T-gods or titans or enigma in a duel, I can see this type of amulet being helpful.
Rings: Raven is a must in my opinion. Chaming a helm or a jmod is a waste rather than having a 5/5 die or fhr/str/dex jewel etc. The question is can you afford to lose the life + the skill on the bk ring? I say no 95% of the time, if you need stack res, than go for the rare with fcr dex stack res. Hope it has life life though. I could picture using a fcr/dex/life/res ring if you are going with the fcr/fwr helm to increase fcr bp though. And if you include the fhr/fcr belt, then you’re hitting even higher bp’s. I don’t like this because your losing a ton of damage here I would think.
Belt: Tgods ? I have heard nos coil for penetration, but I put 1 pt into penetrate and find it’s enough with the + skills. Maybe a fcr/fhr/belt? I would lose massive damage, but my casting would hit the second break point.
Armor: Enigma on Mp, dusk shroud, Light plate, etc., work fine without adding any strength at all. You can even get a higher strength requirement one but it will slow you down a bit, at least that’s what I have heard. However, if you’re using 6/40 without titans, maybe coh instead of enigma would be beneficial (depending on the duel of course). But I find tele to be necessary 99% of the time.
Boots: I like frw/fhr/tri res boots the best. But I can definitely see why people like waterwalks too. Eth treks are not necessary in my opinion on javas at all.
Inventory: I enjoy hitting the top fhr bp, with max block it is great (although I do not have max block currently). However, if you take off the fhr boots, you have to take off the 2x 20/5s and add 5/5s to max out. You can also go for the lesser fhr bp with max block and go for 6x 45 lifers too. I don’t see any benefit by not having any fhr though (or limited fhr), especially in dueling. Maybe if you are against ele, sorc, trap, you may want to go all 45s without fhr. But that is preference I think.
So to end it, I am hoping you guys have tried other builds out and we can put together the best possible dueling/pvm java there is yet. I got about 60k to spend still to finish her up and the items are out there. Thank you all
