There is a seccond option for safety Shield better like Whitstan's!
( my experience in on softcore, but worth take a look )

I made a new MF / Keyfinder inspired by your build,
Shield of Choice by now:

Moser's Luna
( Upped. Moser's Round Shield )

The Reason of Upgrade is to acheve 40 base Chance to Block and higher Defence!

Issues:
> 100 Str Req. ( because of upgrade )
> 30% Block Rate

Advantages
> Upped has: 65% Chance to Block ( 40 Base + 25 Mod )
> Has 300+ Defece
> 25 All Res
> 2 Sockets

Fixing Issues:
We will use the 2 Sox as follows:

Sock 1:
Shael ( 20 FBR ) + 30 base = 50 Fast Bloc ( 5 Fps bp reached )

Sock 2*:
Rare Jool with 2 must be stats + up to 2 mods of choice
> Must be:+7 Fhr / -15 Requirements*
> +2 mods on jool depending what u need ( Str, Dex*, All Res, +30 Some Res*, DgtM ... )

*Perfect jool would be ( gosu ):
+7 Fhr
+9 Dex ( 3 Dex = 1% Chance to Block, also help to use Wizzy! )
+30% Light Res or Fire ( Stacked Resist! )
-15 Req.

*Poor Choice or depending on special needs could include:
Sur, Vex, Ohm, Lo, Um, Ko, Hel Runes ( HRs are cheap atm. ),
P. Ruby, Sapph, Topaz, or Some Jool

*Power Choice: +5/-5% Light Facet

*Kamikaze Choice: Loose Shael put: 2 x +5/-5% Light Facets ^ ^

Conclussion:
Is a Light Shield that has almost 50% less Str Req. compared to Stormshield,
has all the features we need, without DR, but has +25 Resistences, FHR,
65% Chance to block ( or more if Dex on Jool ),
maybe stacked Resists...

Anyway this shield kicks out Whitstan's out of discussion in my view!

Well this is true... I started on Softcore a Pvp Lightsorc based on this build mixed with some other's advices...
& is nice! ( I have to work on equip to make'it effective... like I still need skillers )

Tested her in runs > Nice
Tested in pubs > Nice ( as safety / not effective yet because of low dmg without skillers )

Stormshield option for max safety is just insane... usualy a sorc falls fast if a smiter hits her...
well with max block, DR & good Fhr... u can ascape

wen u have dueld a decent person. then plz tell em your thoughts. pvp> pvm and any good pvp char does great pvm.
