those are good areas where you wont encounter cold immunes, or will be able to easily deal with them. also try nihl if ur good, blizz cant kill monsters around him so he cant cast ce :P

you can do those areas with any gear really, just have a merc with a random leech helm (tals), random armor with res (duriels), and any polearm insight thats exceptional or better quality :D try getting 63+ fcr and some fhr, preferably by spirit sword. wizzy may seem better but its not

Lore Circlet, I have the tal mask
He has atmas will
volgue insight for mana regen.

I suggest to trying to beef up your merc. Try to get a higher damage shell and upgrade your insight.

For armor try to get a stone or a treachery. Stone will add lots of extra defense and treachery can buff fade to add resistance and damage reduction.

I've found a tal mask to be decent becuse it adds good life leach and mana leach.

Pump some points into static and take it a little slow, static the immunes and have your merc poke everything to death. I think a key to successful mfing is a good merc.
