Anyone can be godlike with zons, they just have to train very very much and have time for that and never come close to melee/throw range vs an itemlamer if you still wear titans.
Anyway regarding the question, my opinion is :
- GMB > diamond
- most players with gmb are bad players
- when a gmb player has the same skill and gain the same benefits/weaknesses from the map than a diamond player, the difference from the gmb part will often be the chance of being hit on bow slot and the pressure of your multi on mid range
Anyway playing on eu, so bb/gmb build is still often overlooked than other realms.
Calcs give clearly GMB > diamond but the dmg difference will never save your ass as much as you would like when you start seeing the versatility of diamond's builds (excluding shadows because i consider they don't have the upper hand vs diamonds).
Having both is always a good idea, but never forget than you'll spend too much time and practice and are likely proned to mess up your gameplay cause the two builds have clearly their own benefits and weaknesses.
