Im having hard time to kill him. His corpse explosion is big problem itself but worst are those poison snakes. They are often giving me insta kills with their poison spear attacks.

How to defend against it? I would like to go there with cold orb/ES sorc atm no dex/block.

Stack some PDR to counter snake's "poison" attacks.
Around 30 PDR = very safe.
Around 50 PDR = immuned.

meteors kill him nicely; you can lure some monsters away and drop bombs on him from a distance/run away

feanur meant physical damage reduce, not poison res. also i prefer blizzard vs him because unlike meteor it doesnt kill the creatures around him, so no CE

Nihlathak you want to use the, 'Nature's Peace' ring. The ring allows the monsters you kill to be unable to ressurected, corpse exploded, and so forth.

This renders Nihlathak useless.
