I need to build a tank. Give me some feedback. Ive been thinking a BvA? NN hammerdins or trap assa. Maybe drop a guide?

A true master of fun & actually efficient chars is Master_Zappy. Ask him.

although his guides are mostly pvm they are fun to mess around in with pvp
tri din was not too successful but the rift-a-sin was fun in pvp

And we are referring to PvM chars, are we not? This is a "fun char request" topic. Fun Chars are often, if not always, failures @ dueling.

Well, I use Zappy a lot for inspiriation and she's a pretty easy going chap.

What kind of PvP?
You could make a godly zealer with rare weapons, a poison java amazon and kill enemies in seconds, a BvA and clear whole arenas.
If you want something not as common, bearzons are TANKS and zealsorcs pack a punch.
If you aren't really to serious dueling/ want something very challenging I suggest a set character.
There's lots out there
