I myself am pretty new to the game. I've "played" for about 2months. Meaning I kept an active skill in my training queue most of the time. I currently am mission running level I security missions. I am flying a Maelstrom Battleship with Warrior II drones as my fighting forces for these lower level missions.
I am too new to the game to know what the game has to offer. I guess the best for me would be to find a corporation that could teach me more about my options. I am interested into Industrialism but am not sure how to dive into it. I would appreciate the help of any long-time player.
for level one missions i would strongly recommend training destroyer a few levels and looking into a thrasher fit. they breeze through l1/l2 missions and are almost garuanteed to do them much faster than a battleship. I had a pilot in an industrial corp for a few years, i'll get in touch with them and see what i can do about getting you hooked up with some people that can help you there. a great resource to get you rolling is
