so i have a fighter...so far ive been doing:
120dex
138ee plate
10intel

if i get my intel to 40/50....wouuld that make a big enough difference in my tanking? or does it have to be +70

It would not make that big of a difference, ~120 dex is sufficient, with the right amount of vita.

50+ int does help alot with tanking actually

but if adding int helps to have heals charms as well

but 40-50 will let me kill a couple more mobs tho?

i think adding into int is a great idea for tanking, as not all mobs are melee, and there are many caster mods, and this is where the int comes in, also helps to have int because it allows you to heal yourself, or party members

it actually does make a big difference

its just like dex for reducing dmg on physical monsters

not sure about the breakpoints though

Since i play my samurai as healer in catacombs i go all int naturally.
It helps a lot with the tanking ( ee armor/dex vs physical attacks, int vs casters )
and i believe you should see the effect with 50 int already.

It can be damn hot in combination with some mana syphon since you receive a lot of hits as tanker.
For a more efficient use of the int you should indeed have a heal charm as well then

ill try 110dex/50intell but lvl 55

Many of the good tanks out there are Hybrids, with 50+ INT.

Really, the best tanks have more of a balance of the stats, ~100str / 80dex / 70int / 50vit
