Its been a couple of days since the release of the new 1.0.4. patch.

With new items and the now more powerful legendaries, I've decided to move my wizard up a notch as compared to how it was back then: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=64207281&f=69

Anyway, I'm constantly trying to improve my wizard and as of now, I'll be looking to upgrade my belt to The Witching Hour, my shoulders to Vile Ward, helm to Andariel's Visage and change the Depth Diggers to the newer Depth Diggers.

The reason I've been holding off for now is because I have to actually sit down and plan where the loss of VIT in my shoulders would go to should I switch over to the Vile Ward and moving over to the Witching hour belt would definitely lower my already low eHP even lower. This is why I've also been looking around for andariel's visage that can roll a socket + base life % to help make up for the loss in VIT. I also reckon that the newer Depth Diggers would have more resists, nice vit roll while retaining the same old awesome base INT roll as it did pre-1.0.4.

Anyway, I guess its enough talk and those who might have alternative suggestions as to how I can improve my build are greatly welcomed to be my critique!

First photo shows completey unbuffed stats without scoundrel or glass cannon or energy armor.

Overall, I know my HP and resists are still too low and the build is really glass-cannonish but they've been allowing me to do act 3 act 4 runs with probably 4 or 5 deaths a night, and they mostly come from being overly careless with Reflect Dmg mobs such as using Archon Destruction on elites without first checking their affixes. Anyway, for farming runs, I'll usually run Prismatic armor together with Diamond Skin and always have with me a Life Steal weapon. Seems to work well for now and probably the only thing that instagibs me is activating archon destruction against elites that have reflect dmg.

In my opinion, this wizard is definitely far far away from being complete and if we looked at Diabloprogress, we can see that the Korean wizards are clearly well ahead of the rest of the world in all aspects. My aim is to at least catch up with them but budget constraints and inability to find cheap and good deals have been a huge limiting factor as well.

I guess because they are overpriced when its with all res :-) thats minimum 100 ++ mil for 50 all res.. I wouldnt pay that :-)

Thanks guys! I'm still searching for the right belt. Need AR and INT and max IAS and CD to roll on them belts to justify a purchase. And in my opinion, with most witching hours rolling rather good stats, I'm hoping that the prices will see a slight decline over the next week or two and that probably makes it a better time to purchase.

Same thing applies to the vile ward since they naturally roll much lower VIT and that means I'll have to stack my VIT elsewhere. It's not so much about buying the best item on the AH but more about planning what to get, when to get it and a balance of other stats which I'm working hard on.

@MAD1LEE: I chose the zuni's over the TAL RASHA due to the simple fact that most zuni sets roll slightly better be it INT, VIT or AR. the set also gives +130 int <- which is a direct increase to raw DPS as opposed to the inflated on sheet given by the IAS for the TAL RASHA and the boots have %elemental DMG to make up for that overall loss. Overall, since my weapon doesn't have any elemental DMG on it, the %elemental from the boots add up a really nice amount to my overall DPS so does the increased INT. Another thing to note would be the VIT + AR rolls on both of these pieces especially so for the chest piece with physical + ar. *megusta* =p

Of course I could have picked a nicely rolled old Zuni boots and a new TAL RASHA but I might end up with so little eHP that it's really not viable. Afterall, a dead wizard does 0 DPS. I didn't really follow tht rule back then when building her up and ran into a great deal of problems especially during team play against mobs that had reflect or mortar.

Everything is really nice, but resists should be looked at post-haste. You are still pretty far away from the point where resists start to yield slightly diminishing returns, and your dps, especially with archon and the buffed archon destruction should pretty much clear everything very quickly even if a little is sacrificed for more survivability.

The wand is the best item of the lot, and I thought hard about it when it was on AH

If I were you I'd use the old zuni boots (new ones don't have ASPD) and get a trifecta zuni pox for the 2 item combo. The weapon and source are fucking insane tho.
