Hey guys maybe I am crazy but aren't these numbers way off? A friend bought a pox close to mine, yet mine is showing much higher dps gains and I cant figure out why. Anyone have any ideas? If its "wrong" thats horrible because just imagine spending a lot of gold on something based on the link from ah..

I am wd, hes a wd who bought the ring and linked me. Doesn't make sense to me, just kinda scary actually

Rings have always been weird for me with links. Last time I compared a ring to my currents, when I pushed alt to try to compare the new ring to both current rings the +/- stat value didn't change, as if the ring would have the same change of stats no matter which one I replaced. I'm guessing there's something weird about rings/stat link comparisons.

go to d3rawr.com and then go to detalied, and then do a profile import with your ring, then go through your items and check out the mods showing on your ring.

youll see the 32-63 mod, but there will also likely be a +xx to min dmg roll too.

i belive your friend got a 7% life roll while you got a hidden dmg roll.

1600 dps isnt a lot ....

Sure it is when your talking about a ring thats already adding 18k dmg. +1600 is a pretty big difference when your looking for upgrades of already good gear.

only way to do it is by comparing the 2 items as you did now

pretty funny that d3rawr can show the hidden damage and d3 itself cant
